We do not sell, rent, or share your personal health data with advertisers or third parties. All health information is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Helixora Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the NutriWise mobile application ("App"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Please read it carefully. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

NutriWise is not a covered entity under HIPAA, but we voluntarily apply strong safeguards to all data you provide because we believe you deserve nothing less.

1. Overview

NutriWise helps you understand your supplement stack by analysing labels and barcodes you scan, tracking the products and goals you log, generating AI-backed analysis of your stack, and surfacing alternative products. To do that, we need certain information from you. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service and we handle it with care.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

  • Email address and authentication credentials, managed through our authentication provider, Clerk, when you register or sign in.

Supplement & nutrition data

  • The supplements and products in your stack, items you log, and health goals you set within the App.

Scan images

  • Photos of supplement labels and barcodes you capture using the App's scan feature, stored securely in Cloudflare R2.

Usage data

  • Interactions needed to operate the App, including which features you use and how the App performs.
  • Clicks on retailer and affiliate links, tracked for attribution purposes (see §4).
  • Device identifiers, operating system version, App version, and crash/diagnostic logs to help us fix bugs.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information solely to provide and improve NutriWise:

  • Analysing your supplement stack and generating AI-backed recommendations and alternatives (see §4).
  • Matching scanned labels and barcodes to product information.
  • Tracking the products, goals, and items you log over time.
  • Attributing clicks on retailer and affiliate links so we can operate our affiliate program.
  • Operating, maintaining, and improving the App, including fixing bugs and diagnosing crashes.
  • Sending you important account and service-related notifications (you can opt out of non-essential notifications).
  • Complying with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal data to data brokers or anyone else.

4. How We Share Data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

AI analysis

To analyse your stack and suggest alternatives, relevant supplement and product details are sent to our AI provider, xAI, which operates the Grok models. We share only what is needed for the analysis, and we do not send your data to xAI for advertising purposes.

Affiliate retailers

When you tap a product link, we may direct you to a retail partner (for example, iHerb or Thorne) and may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. The retailer's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data on their site.

Infrastructure providers

We host and store data using Cloudflare's infrastructure, including database, key-value, and object storage services. These providers process data only on our behalf, under strict data processing agreements, and are prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.

Business transfers

If Helixora Labs LLC is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified in advance, and the acquirer must agree to honour this Privacy Policy or obtain your fresh consent.

To reiterate: we do not sell or rent your personal data.

5. Security

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.
  • All data is encrypted at rest, including data stored in Cloudflare's database, key-value, and object storage services.
  • Access to personal data within our team is role-based and logged.
  • We conduct regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments.

No system is 100% secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly as required by applicable law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account, stack, and scan data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you the service. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App using the account-deletion option in Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.

7. Your Rights & Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by emailing us.
  • Correction — update or correct inaccurate data at any time within the App.
  • Deletion — permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly from within the App (Settings → Delete Account), or by emailing us.
  • Export — request a portable copy of your data.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. International Data Transfers

Helixora Labs LLC is operated in the United States. If you use the App from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. We apply appropriate safeguards for any cross-border transfers in accordance with applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
